Day 1 : Departure from Collioure- 22km Profile +650m/-650m
Depart from the beach at Collioure to stretch our legs. We ride off from the middle of the vineyards on roads and tracks of the back country. We rise in elevation to a col before reaching a magnificent 14th century signal tower from where we have a panoramic view over the sea.
Overnight in hotel.

Day 2 : 46km Profile +963m/-763m
We start off in the morning with the ascent of a col on a rolling track. Then a long descent before attacking the second difficult section of the stage: a progressive climb on a track bordered with cork trees to arrive on a ridge, the highest point of the stage.
Final descent over 12 km of a rolling, shaded trail, at times technical, ideal to end the day in beauty. The most strenuous stage.
Night in a hotel in a village typical of the region.

Day 3 : 38km Profile +760/-890m
We start off on spanish trails in the middle of green oaks and hamlets. Passing through the little villages allows us to cool off in the fountains. We roll along paths bordered with dry stone walls before attacking a good little climb in a landscape worthy of the High Atlas of Morocco et then suddenly the blue of the Mediterranean is unveiled as we pass over a col.
We change plateaus for a descent to 500m eleveation: pure pleasure before arriving on the beach for a well-deserved dip in the sea.

Day 4 : 39 km Profile +820m -820m
In the morning, sea-spray accompanies us above the inlets carved by the sea before making our assault on the mountains. Another landscape reminiscent of Morocco with its characteristic vegetation and its oases where you'll sometimes surprise a land turtle. At each bend a new scene surprises us.
Ascension of a col, passing near an imposing monastery that dominates the whole coast. We spy the sea beore diving swiftly down a 500 m descent.
Night in a hotel by the seas.

Day 5 : 38km Profile +650m/-530m
A good regular climb has us gaining altitude. We overlook the valleys while leaving the sea behind. Arrive on a ridge via a technical trail at the summit of which we overlook the sea. Thrilling descent to the beach. We sense the approach of Cadaquès by the inlets, sea pines, exceptional landscapes.
Night in a hotel by the sea.

Day 6 : 26km Profile +404m/-404m (optional stage, but a must)
A stage in a magnificent setting, we leave along a track to explore the natural reserve of Cap de Creus. We climb high again to better admire the Pyrenees that extend to the sea. It seems ike the edge of the world, where the turquoise water of the inlets contrasts with the while houses of Cadaquès.
And why not visit the house of the famous artist Salvador Dali before putting away the bikes...
Shower at the hotel and depart at 2pm for the transfer to Collioure.
