Superb holiday for discovering the pleasures of snowshoeing in the valleys of the high Ariège in the heart of the central Pyrenees.
With our mountain guides, who are passionate about their region, come explore the winter mountains, a sleeping world but ever so alive.
Put on your snowshoes, you'll be entering an extraordinary universe where nature explodes with life. Like in a book, step by step, you'll recognise the tracks of numerous wild animals that populate our valleys.
You'll stay in the Relais des Forges, situated in the mountain village of Ascou, whose cuisine is famous in the region.

Program

Day 1 : Reception and installation in the gîte d'étape of Ascou, then explore the domaine du Chioula to stretch your legs.

Day 2 : A beautiful day of snowshoeing in Bear valley.

Day 3 : Secret ramble on the plateau des 7 cases.

Day 4 : Exploring the Plateau de Beille, one of the most beautiful nordic ski areas in the Pyrenees.

Day 5 : Free day: Alpine or cross-country skiing, thermal spa therapy in Ax les Thermes or in Caldéa in Andorra or simply resting.

Day 6 : A day of exploring the valley of Coumegrande, with a meal in a shepherd's cabin.

Day 7 : End of stay.
