Between Le Puy-en-Velay and Saint-Jean-du-Gard, explore the Cévennes in the footsteps of the famous British writer Robert Louis Stevenson, who set out in 1878 accompanied by his donkey, Modestine. Volcanic landscapes, the Gévaudan highlands, the heather-covered moors of Mont Lozère, and the ridges and valleys of the Cévennes… a complete change of scenery is guaranteed! Stevenson’s trail can be covered on foot—taking about fifteen days to complete the entire route—or by mountain bike!
